The McLean Library

Find out about the newest, rarest or even weirdest plants in the McLean Library. Whether you are finishing your school report or just looking for a little guidance, the Library has more than 15,000 volumes and is one of the largest horticultural collections in the region. Here are ways to utilize the Library:

Green Scene Magazine

To improve your gardening skills, read award-winning Green Scene magazine. Written by local and national garden professionals, Green Scene is filled with colorful "how-to" articles and is published six times a year.

Receive Green Scene by becoming a PHS member; both print and digital issues are available. Back issues are available for $7 per copy, postage included. Email gsads@pennhort.org or call 215-988-8767 to order.

PHS News

PHS members also receive PHS News six times a year. It features info on upcoming gardening activities, news of interest to PHS members, and stories about PHS's greening programs. For day-to-day updates on PHS, visit the online news page.
