Don’t Miss: Parkway Exhibit at Moore College
“By Design: New Visions for the Parkway” at Philadelphia’s Moore College of Art & Design (July 12 to September 20) celebrates the visible changes and dynamic opportunities on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway by focusing on landscape, architecture and public art. The show highlights how the Parkway’s rich legacy has paved a path to a vibrant present and future. Look for PHS’s renovation plans for Logan Square at this exhibit, as well as “Paulownia Project” an accompanying exhibit of new sculptures by Linda Brenner, created from the Paulownia trees that formerly stood in Logan Square. And don’t miss Moshe Safdie’s model for the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Annex.
