Meadowbrook Farm Walk: Shady Characters—Yearlong Interest in the Woodland Garden

The woodland garden is truly a spring flower show. The combination of trees, shrubs, perennials, biennials and ephemerals are a delight to watch as the days grow longer and the soil warms up. You can create a woodland wonderland too, once you understand shade in all its forms. Cultivating a woodland garden and keeping it exciting and going strong from year to year will be the focus of this morning tour of the Meadowbrook Farm gardens led by Glenn Ashton. Once you learn the basics, the fun begins when you add biennials and perennials to the landscape. Limit: 20.
