Thursdays, March 19, 26 & April 2, 6 pm – 9 pm
BECOME A TREE TENDER! Become part of the “growing” TreeVitalize program designed by Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) to increase Southeast Pennsylvania’s tree cover and the benefits that trees offer us all. Training includes Tree Biology, Urban Stresses on Trees, Tree Identification, Basic Tree Pruning and Root Care, Tree Planting and Community Organizing. The three-part series is FREE and snacks are served. Given the intensity of the training and the late hours, the training is not appropriate for children under 13.
