Eight Tuesdays: March 17 to May 5.
If you feel challenged by the medium of watercolor or have wondered how botanical artists create the illusion of reality, this is the class for you.
Presented by Eileen Rosen, this basic introduction will include mixing the colors of nature, making a color journal, exercises to create form and dimensionality, and discussion of brushes and paper. It is necessary to attend the first session of this eight-part series. A materials list, including items needed for the first class, will be mailed upon registration. Instruction will be based on individual needs, and beginners are welcome! Limit 15.
Eileen Rosen has taught botanical drawing at the University of the Arts, New York Botanical Garden, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Rio Bravo Research Station in Belize, Central America.
